Album art and promotional pieces for Chicago musician Daniel Knox. Everything from cover artwork for vinyl and compact disc, to posters and postcards, all featuring graphite drawings by the amazing Robyn O’Neil (McSweeney’s and The Believer) contrasted with the black and white photography of the talented John Atwood and augmented by a mix of typography. The client, Mr. Knox’s manager, was thrilled to have something more creative than what he would have done himself in Microsoft Word — because a unique musician needs unique pieces to get the word out about himself.
And yes, ‘Evryman’ is intentionally misspelled. And it’s a really good album.
